SPORTS SUMMARY
The finalist for the singles champion ship of the Greymouth Bowling Club are D. McKay and F. W. Whibley. McKay in the semi finals scored two wins over Mercer (previous champion for three seasons) the issue being in doubt in each case till the end. Heeney being undecided whether he wishes to fight again before summer, Uzcudun has been matched against Christener for February 22, at Madison Square Garden. ADELAIDE, January 29. Gregory (England) beat Schlesinger (Victoria) in the final of the Australian singles tennis championship 6/2, 6/2, 5/7, 6/4. In the doubles final, Crawford and Kopman beat Moon and Cummings 6/1, 6/8, 4/6, 6/1, 6/3. Miss Ak hurst won the ladies ’ singles, and .with Miss Bickerton, won the doubles; final. • •
