MEETINGS.
OMOTO RATEPAYERS’ ASSN. The annual meeting of the Omoto Ratepayers Association was held on Wednesday night, Mr F. Faulkner presiding over the following members: Messrs Cox, Thomas, Barrow. Bishop and Kent (Secretary). The Chairman’s report was received and adopted. The election ot officers resulted: Chairman F. Faulkner, Vice-Chairman W. Hill, Secretary J. I. Barrow. . A discussion ensued as to the re-i moval of the stone, wall to the front of Mr Cox’s property at the Half; Bridge. Omoto Road. The Secretary; was instructed to communicate . with the County Engineer in regard to same. The Secretary was also instructed to write to the County Council to see if anything could be done to the road leading into Mr Thompson’s pro perty at Kaiata. The usual compliment to the chair concluded the meeting.
