SCULLER PEARCE.
Invited to New Zealand. WELLINGTON. January 14. An invitation has b6en extended by the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association to R. Pearce, the Olympic hind Australian champion sculler. to visit New Zealand next month and compete at the Wellington regatta on 16th February and at the N£/w Zealand championship regatta to be held at Picton on 23rd February. The New Zealand Association has offeitd Pearce’s club £25 towards his expenses. It is understood that the Marlborough Rowing Association has undertaken to bilkatt Pearce for a week if he comei.
