Wants Union Rules Altered. MELBOURNE, January 13. The Commonwealth Steamship Owners’ Association is objecting to the registration of the Australian Seamens’ Union unless the latter’s rules are altered. The owners contend that th© Union’s definition of industry is too wide, and may complicate business by involving the Association in disputes extending to other countries. The rules were lodged in November. Now another organisation, the Seamens ’ Union of Australasia, has &P' plied for registration. The juwners may lodge objection thereto also.
