CLAIM TO BARONETCY.
EDITOR’S MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE. (Received January 13 at 8 p.m.) LONDON, January 13. Alexander Kenneth Murray, fiom Canberra, who arrived in London in June to establish his claim for the Baronetcy of extensive estates, conv munieated with Australia House, an 1 had a conference with the Scottish authorities. Finality was not reached. and Murray was perturbed and (tornplain cd of “passive resistance to my claims. ’’ In the course of a letter to a friend he complained of the terrible amount of expended money to establish the claim, and did not know what to do. The last record was a letter on Sep tember 29, from an Edinburgh suburb to his son, a fruit grower near Sydney, in which he said he was being taken to India. Australia House was asked to trace the communication by the police and Scottish authorities and copies and revelant correspondence were sent to the Dominions Office without result. There are many letters addressed to Sir Alexander Murray awaiting at Australia Houfce. JPrior to his disappearance, Oolonel Kyrie presented panoramic views of Canberra and a visiting card tc A. K. Murray, editor and proprietor of the Federal Capital Pioneer, Canberra.
