REMARKABLE INCREASE
In N.Z. Exports to U.S.A. WELLINGTON, December 15. A remarkable increase in exports from New Zealand to the United States for November is reported by the American Consulate General in Wellington. The value of commodities for which invoices were certified by American Consular officers in Wellington, Auck land, Christchurch and Dunedin was 2,606,290 dollars (£425,600), an increase of 1,383,978 dollars (£285,800) over November of last year. Notable increases include: Butter, £57,200; frozen meat, £52,600; greasy wool, £36,500; calf skins, £12,000; cheese, £12,000; hemp, £10,000; kauri gum, £9000; grass seed, £5000; wool, £4.600; pelts, £7,200. December exports to date also show a favourable increase.
