WELLINGTON, December 11. The cyclone is still centred just east of Cook Strait, and has increased in intensity. The anti-cyclone in the south-west to southerly winds, will prevail, reaching to gale force at times on the east coast south of Castlepoint. Moderate seas north of Fast Cape, but becoming rather roug?» elsewhere in New Zealand wafers. Fresh to strong southerlies, a*nd moderate to rather rough seas in the eastern Tasman. Weather unsettled, with further rain in most districts. Some heavy falls on the east coast north of Akaroa. Improving in western districts. Cold temperatures.
