ANOTHER SPLENDID HEARING. MATINEE TO DAY AT 3 P.M. The large audiences that have nightly been attending the 44 New Reveille’* was maintained last night. It is deed a triumph for an amateur production t 0 play to such larg e houses for six nights; and, for that matter very few professional entertainments could do so. It is a tribute to the genius of Mr Lints a< a producer and the talent of the performers. Last night was a programme of all the “star” turns, and the hearty manner in which each item was applauded showed the audience’s appreciation. From start to finish there was not one • lull moment, the members of the production excelling themselves. By special request, a matinee perform ance will be given this afternoon, commencing at 3 p.m. The prices have been reduct d, so that the children may have the full benefit of enjoying the gorgeous spectacle that the 4 4 New Reveille” is. Tn connection with the Matinee, th? Committee wish to ex press their appreciation to the Sisters of Mercy, who postponed their annual concert, which was to be held this afternoon, in order to add to the success of the matinee. To-night sees the grand conclu ion. when indications point to there being a record house, to farewell the performers. It will be a gala night, and at the conclusion streamers and confetti will link those on the stage to the audience, thus making a fitting finale to the greatest pro (lUCtion S’UiT >=■ vnimir;!.
