I Attack Australians. WITH STILETTOS AND RAZORS. SYDNEY, December 10. A sensational racial encounter between Australians and Italians al tbl) Leeton Irrigation Settlement resulted in five Australians—Hyde, Wilsofn, Dunn, O’Grady and Curtis, receiving injuries from stilettos, or razors. The police state that all the men had bei in drinking in a local hotel, when it is alleged that an Australian exclaimed: ‘‘Fancy having to drink with dagoes.” The remark was resented by the Italians who shouted excitedly and brandish d razors and other weapons.
