GREYMOUTH CLUB. Season’s Trophies. CLOSING DAY YESTERDAY. The Greymouth Golf Club held their closing day at the Omoto links yesterday afternoon, under ideal wcathe’ conditions, and before a large attend aneo of members and visitors. The President, Mr W. Meldrum, S.M. urosented the trophies won during the season, and in a short address congratulated the club on the successful season, and the junior members on the marked improvement shown. Mr and Mrs Meldrum later entertained the Club to afternoon tea. The 1928 season trophy list in both the men and ladies’ sections is as follows:— MEN’S TROPHY LIST. SENIORS. Champion: W. P. McCarthy.
