FARM TRAGEDY.

Youth Shoots Brother and Suicides. REST or FAMILY ASLEEP. (Per Press Association). HAMILTON. December 1. A dofible tragedy- occurred on a farm at Tirau, at 2.30 this morning, when Stanley Chapman, aged 21, shot his brother, Bruce Chapman, aged sixteen, and then shot himself. Both died before medical aid could be summonedStanley Chapman had been depressed owing to insomnia and worry. The relations of the brothers had been cordial. The rest of the family were asleep when the tragedy occurred, and no one witnessed or heard signs of a st niggle. The deceased were the sons of Mr Thos. Chapman, a well known Tirau settler.
