RESIGNATION ANNOUNCED. NATIONALISTS TO FORM MINISTRY. MELBOURNE, November 21. The Ministry was again defeated. Mr Hogan moived the adjournment as ;a test vote, saying that if the motion •ted it would clearly indicate the Ministry no longer possessed the iconfidenee of the House. The motion was rejected by 34 to 28. A dissolution of the House will pro .bably not be sought, as it is undesir able to hale an election so soon after the Federal election. LATER. The Hogan Labour Government resigned to-day.. Sir William McPherson is to form a Ministry which will consist completely of Nationalists.
