J)URSUANT to Section 2 of “The Local Authorities’ Empowering (Relief of Unemployment) Act, 1926’' NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Greymouth Borough Council proposes to confirm at a meeting of the said Council to be held in the Council Cham bers, Mackay Street, Greymouth, at 8 p.m., on Thursday the 22nd day of November, 1928, the following resolution which was passed at a Special Meeting of the said Council held in the Council Chambers aforesaid at noon on ; Saturday, thd 10th day of November, 1928:—‘ 1. That the Greymouth Borough Council proceed to borrow and raise under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1920, and also under the powers contained in the Local Authorities’ Empowering (Relief dT Unemployment), Act, 192(5, (Orders in Council in pursuance of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, and Sections 32 and 114 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, having been obtained authorising the Council to borrow) and in pursuance of all other Acts and powers (if any) enabling it in that behalf a special loan of £3009 required for Public Works proposed to be undertaken by the Council for the relief of unemployment. 2. That, such loan be called “The Grevmouth Borough Unemployment Re lief Loan of £3000—1928.” 3. That the currency of the said loan shall be for a period of 20 years from the Ist day of December, 1928. 4. That the rate of interest on the said loan shall be £6 0s Od per centum per annum. 5. That the form of security for the payment of the principal and interest on the said loan shall be 40 debentures for the sum of £129 15s 9d each and payable on every Ist day of June and the Ist day of December, the first on the Ist day of June, .1929, and the last on the Ist day of December 1948.
