WELLINGTON, November 4. Dr Kidsen’s evening forecast states: An anti-cyclone is parsing north of New Zealand, while a depression is advancing across the Tasman Sea. Fore-' east: Moderate and variable winds at first but northerlics to westerlies pre-' vailing, and freshening later, reaching gal? force at exposed places south of New Plymou h and Castlepoint. Seas rather rough south of Cape Egmont; de where, moderate in New Zealand waters. Moderate to strong north-west winds, increasing to gale force in the eastern Tasman Sea. with rising seas. Weather cloudy a'nd unsettled, with rain on the Wes' Coast south of Cape Egmont; elsewhere, fair to cloudy, but becoming more generally unsettled, shortly, with some rain in most dis-' trict ’.
