L.G.U. Match. LADIES’ MATCH, SENIOR DIVISION. On Saturday, under showery Weather conditions, ho above mutch was played. Following are the leading cards hand-, d in:— Mrs Thorpy 97 (20) 77. Miss Berry 103 (24) 79 Miss N. Tennent 94 (11) S 3. Mrs Fletcher 102 (15) 87. In the play-off of the last medal match between Mrs Thorpy and Mrs Fletcher the result was a win for Mrs Thcrpy. JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP (SEMIFINAL). M’.ss Tennent beat Miss Kilgour 6 and 4. Mis - Higgins beat Mrs Warnes 3 and OMOTO CUP. The l final of the Omoto Cup was played between Mi’s W. Cunningham and Miss Thomas. A* the commencement play was in favour of Mrs Thomas. bur gradually Mrs Cunningham gained on her opponent, to finally win by 3 up and 2 to play. JUNIOR MEDAL. .Another round in the junior medal competition was played on Saturday. The Committee are disappointed in the lack of interest shown in the competition, only six players bring in a tendance. ' The best cards returned were:—-Mi-s Tennent scr 48. Miss Kilgour 62 (12) 50.
