WELLINGTON, November 2. Dr Kidson’s report states: The recent cyclone has passed east of New Zealand. A moderate anti-cyclone is moving over the northern Tasman, the centre of which is likely to pass north of the Dominion. A depression is advancing from the western Tasman Sea. Forecas : Moderate to strong but decreasing. southerly winds m h of Farewell Spit and Cape Campl n Else where, freshening northerlies pix,vai)ing, and later northerly winds becoming general. Seas ri ing on the West Coast. Elsewhere, rough but decreasing in New Zealand waters. Moderate to strong and increasing west to north winds in the eastern Tasman Sea, wi h rising seas. An isolated shower or two in th e Northern and East Coast district'. AVpather otherwise fair to tine, but becoming unsettled soon in We.-tl'and and Otago, with some rain, and later extending to o'her parts. Milder temperatures.
