Franselow, whilst working at Mr L. McVicar’s farm at Alexander Reefs yesterday, had th-? misfortune *o break his arm. He was brought in to Rceftou, via the Stevenson’s Flat mute, to-day, by Mr D Twomey’s taxi, and received medical attention Rev. S. J. Webb and Mrs Webb retn rued to Reel ton last evening, after a holiday in the south. Mr C. James (Greymouth) visited Roofton to-day. Air and Mrs C. Foley left by yesterday’s Christchurch express on annual holidays. Mr Jack Moyle. some time past teacher at C s househo’d school, Urushington, left for Dunedin yesterday. Mr Jas. O’Malley left for Christchurch by this morning’s express.
At the sitting the Magistrate' Court at Reefton yesterday, before M Meldrum, S.M., Michael Kearns wa convicted and fined 10/- costs, for b< ing found drunk in Grey Road. Reel ton, on October 31.
