OVSRCOMING DISTANCE. (Received Nov. 2 at 7.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 1. The New Tork ‘-Times” has a tending article commenting on the Radio—Telephonic conversation between the Dnited States and Australia. It says:—‘‘On such an occasion OF, usual speeches about bonds of blood, amity, and commerce take on an unusual sincerity. Language, letters and the printed page, arc an effective bond, but when you can actually hear a man’s voicyou feel very close to him indeed.”
