Angry Seamen. A THREATENING DEMONSTRA TION. (Received November I at 10.10 p.m.) SYDNEY. November 1. Three hundred angry seamen marched six abreast through the heart of the eitv to day, some voices Maiming. “Where is he? Where is Tom Walsh? We will pull him to pieces!” The, mob was grimly bent on ejecting Walsh from his office, and was muttering ex eitedly. It aroused considerable in.erC t amongst the pedestrians. A couple of seamen said that they were going to wreck the Union office and clean up Walsh, but Walsh was not there, so they did not.
