The Graf Zeppelin has arrived at Friedrichshafen; from the United Sta‘es. She arrived at 7.10 o’clock in the morning. She occupied 4335 minutes on the flight from Lakehurst (72} hours). AIRSHIP S STOWAWAY. TREATED AS HERO. LONDON. October 31. Clarence the eighteen-yqfr "I*l Zeppelin stowaway, who is wr< ing dishes aboard, seem- to have hitched his wagon to a star, by stow ing away. He has already had many offers for his services. A Hamburg circus pro prietor has wirelessed offering him a job as wild-animal tamer. If he is disinclined to accept that, a large depart ment store at Aix-La-Chapelle is offering him a big position as salesman. Incidentally he has been offered £5OO to appear in a German film. Germany generally regards the feat in a sporting spirit. The American Consul at Stuttgart says that provided Eckener favourably reports on the lad’s conduct he will furnish the necessary papers to preclude Terhune from imprisonment. A rich American at Stuttgart says he is willing to defray the lad’s passenger fare. He is thus safeguarded whatever the outcome. It is revealed also ‘hat Terhune wirelessly sold the newspaper rights of his story for a large sum while aboard. A leading Berlin night club Casanova makes the remarkable announcement that the stowaway has by wireless reserved a table for the night of the arrival.
