CONCLUDING DAY. PALMERSTON N., November 1Despite torrential showers, the attendance at the final day of the Royal Show was good. The attractions were *l)e ring competitions, a grand parade iu the afternoon, and a military display in the evening. The gate takings for the third day were £775 3s 9d, compared with £779 7s 9d for the third day of the Manawatu. Spring Show last year. There was an increase of £97 12s 6d for th e throe days, which is considered satisfactory, considering the wretched weather conditions.
