The victims are:— Garnet Robb, aged lorly year-', a re turned soldier. Miss Palmer, aged thirty yrary. Mrs Edith I’almer, Junior, ageu forty-twof years. Mrs Eliubeth Ashley, housekeeper. Still another man. Jos, ph Palmer, eighty years is critically injured. Hitherto an invalid am bund, he was just able to utter something about “M der in the bouse I” Ji was appareidly column ted ,’by Robb, a nephew of Mrs J’aluunr. He is described as a religious maniac and u spiritualist, and the Palmer family were known to be try ing to get him out of the nous' .
