COBDEN TOWN BOARD.
CHAIRMAN AND COMMITTEE ELECTED. Tim Cobden Town Board met last evening, there being present: Commissioners C. Uddstrom, W. S. Clark, C. Millar, T. Tennent, W. Wimsett, J. Walker and AT. Minehan. After the declaration of the poll, the election of chairman and committees was held. Crs Walker and Minehan proposed! Ci Clark as chairman, while Crs Tennent and Wimsett proposed Cr Uddsfrom. The voting was as follows: — For Ur Clark: Crs Clark. Millar, Minehan and Walker; for Cr Uddstrom: Crs Uddstrom, Tennent. and Wimsett. Cr Walker was here obliged to leave the meeting owing to the illness of Mrs Walker. Uddstrom, and Wimsett. Works:—Crs Minehan (chairman), Millar, Tennent and Uddstrom. Fire Brigade:—Crs Wimsett and' Tennent. Building: Crs Uddstrom and Millar. To sign cheques:—The Chaiiman and; Cr Walker.
