A Christchurch Press Association wire states that the Canterbury College Board 'to-day decided to confer the title of Professor Emeritus on A. W. Bickerton, who for thirty y.ai's, ficm 1873 to 1903, was a Professor in the college. Professor Bickerton is now 87 years of age, and is residing .n England. Feilden Taylor is now out of hospital, and. although slowly recovering from his recent accident, is not yet able to walk, lie is leaving shortly to complete his convalescence in the country. Greymouth., states that he has disposed of his interest in his hotel al Albury, and has re,joined the J. C. Williamson firm as business manager of the Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company, now touring Queensland. His brother, Mr Pat O’Sullivan, is residing in Melbourne.
