A PLAN AFOOT. The Proposals Outlined. (Received August 24, at 11.30 p.m..i SYDNEY, August A plan is on foot for the establishment of a passenger and mail air service between Australia and New Zealand, according- to Mr.' Brundal/i, representing the Dornier Wahl Flying Boat Company, who has sent a leit-.r tkr Mr Brinsmead, Director of Civil Aviation, seeking his opinion in regard to the possibility of securing a mail subsidy for a company starting such a service. •
The; planes would-be ail metal fly;jng boacs, equipped with four, six or more British engines. All bf the licensed engineers and c-‘*. w would be British. The capital would be a quarter of a mil'ion sterling, and would be British and Australia and New Zealand capital with probably s me support from the Dornier Wanl Company, the proportion of which would be subject to legislation. Three crafts at lease would be used cac i being equqipped with wireless direction findcis. The load would be fifteen passengers, or the equivalent in mails and freight.
