Mr T. Seddon, M.P-. arrived yesterday from Wellington. Miss Heffernan left yesterday for Sydney. Miss A. E. Smeaton (Brunnerton) left yesterday on a visit to Wellington. Rev. Dr Kenn dy, who has been visiting Greymouth, returned to .Christchurch yesterday. Mr Georg* Campbell, of the railway station yard staff, left yesterday on transfer to Burnham. Mr J. McShcrry, accompanied by his daughter Moira, will leave for Sydney on Thursday, to attend .the Eucharistic Congress. Messrs Tobin and McLaughlin, of Nelson Creek, leave on Ttr day for Sydney, to attend the Eucharistic Congress. Miss F. E. James (Wellington) arrived by yesterday’s express, on a visit .to her parents, Mr and Mrs I. A. Janies, Cowper Street. Mr W. 11. Johnston is leaving Greymouth next week, the headquarters of the Education Board’s agricultural instructor having been removed to Ch list church. A Vancouver cable states that Prine ‘ George, the King’s youngest son, is there to join the cruiser “Durban.” as Lieutenant. He will remain there several days. Mrs AV. .siderable time. He is survived by his ■widow, son and daughter. The funeral takes place to-morrow. The death occurred yesterday at ’Richmond. Nelson, of Miss Rose Pedrazzi, young’ st daughter of Mr Louis Pedrazzi, formerly of Ross and Mawhe.aiti. The deceased, who was 27 years of age, was a native of Ross, and had been in a delicate state of health for some yeacs. Besidies her father, she leaves one >ister (Mrs Mirfin, of Hope, Nelson), and Mr Louis Pedrazzi, of the Postal Department, Ci.ris*church, and lately of Greymouth. Dee. used was a niece of Mrs AV. Garth, of Greymouth, and „ was favourably known to a wide circle of friends, who will sympathise, with the relatives in iheir bereavement. *
