Howell Beat E. Piesse. Bantamweight— W. Davey beat C. C. E. Bastion. Lightweight—E. Baird defeated C. Carey. Welter weight—O. Jaggers beat D. R. Richardson. Middleweight—A. Thompson beat A. Birchfield. Light Heavyweight—F. Schimanski beat A. Birchfield. Heavyweight— N. Govatt beat Schimanski. N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS. The N.Z. Boxing Championships take place in Auckland on August 23, 24 and 25. It is proposed to hold a West Coast Championship tourney on August 4, and to select a team from the competitors to take part in the contests at Auckland.
