CHINESE MURDERED
In North Queensland FATHER AND SON SLAIN. BRISBANE, May 20. A man passing a Chinese, Young Keo’s general store at Silkwood. near Innisfail, noticed one of the rooms in disorder. He investigated, and found the mutilated bodies of Young Kee and his son. Willie Cheong, aged 13 years, with their heads battered to pulp, lying in a litter of wrecked furniture. giving evidence that a violent struggle had been made for their lives. The police have a difficult task in tracing the murderer, as heavy rain has obliterated all the traek 5 in the vicinity of the store.
