FARMERS’ EXCURSION
WEST COAST TO OTAGO. The Railway Department has completed the arrangements for the West (’oast Farmers’ Excursion to Dunedin, lasting from .lune 4th to June 9th. The .train leaves Ross on Monday, June 4th, at 5.50 a.m., Hokitika at G. 40, Kumara at 7.18. Greymouth at 8.8, and Stillwater at 8.37. connecting with, special train from Reefton, which leaves th re at 6.45 a.m.. Ikamat.ua at 7.33, and Ngaherft at 8.11. The train will arrive at Dunedin at 9.54 o’clock that evenAn itinerary lias been drawn up bv tin* Dunedin Farmers’ Union and A. and P. Association, and includes the following:—First day: Visit to Winter Show and observation tours. Second day. For those who are desirous of doing so. a special invitation to attend Dunedin Jockey Club’ s races at Wingatui. Third day: Visit to important factories and a trip to Taieri Plains. / Fourth day: Visit to Mr J. A. Johnstone’s stud farm at Bushey. Tho return trip commences at 6.25 a.m. on Saturday. June 9th, arriving at / Gr ymoutli at 8.25 p.m.. after connect. / ing with a special train at Stillwater ' for Reefton. A special train will alsr leave Hokitika for Ross after arrive of the 9.15 train from Greymouth.
