(From Our Own Correspondent.) Mr Clarke and Mr Iloulahan, carpenters, of Ross, are building a cottage for Mr Shroy, who was married on Easter Monday to Miss Honey, of Hokitika. It was a beautiful day in South Westland on Easter Monday, when cars were to be seen passing to all parts. Some wen.t to Waitaha Beach to engage in fishing, but there were only a. few fish, caught, as the sea was very rough. Had the conditions been calm, however, there would have been a big catch secured. Mr T. Moore has gone to Christchurch for his Easter holidays. Milking is still going on in these parts, there being plenty of green feed, and dairying will continue the middle of Juno.
