CAMP ACCIDENT
ENDS FATALLY. CHRISTCHURCH, March 27. Andrew Neill Henderson, who was left previously wounded by an accidental rifle discharge in a mountain camp, fifty miles from Oxford, ou Monday, was today found by a relief party, which, set out from Oxford to bring him home, but Henderson had di<(d of his wound. Whqn the , happened, Henderson’s companion Colin Bassett, tended his wound, according to first aid principles, and hurnee off for help. A party was organised, asd 'with Dr. Burnett set out for the camp. This party set out on Manafternoon but missed, the •. were walking till three o dock this morning. Another party who vent in from another direction arrived at tho camp during the. night, but found Henderson dead. So rough is the country, and so difficult ask. that the men are »°t bring the body out until today.
