The police stated that ac-1 cased sold a number of suits and fail-1 ed to account for the money. He was J admitted to probation for twelves months. AN UNUSUAL CASE. J MARTON, March 26. An unusual case was heard at the Huntcrville Magistrate’s Court when J. Klue, butcher, sued A. P. Stewart, of Rata, for 245, meat supplied. It was proved that plaintiff consigned the parcels of meat by rail from Huntcrville, that a guard put off the parcels at Raia, but though officials were continuously on duty at the latter station, no receipt was obtained for the parcels delivered. The Magistrate held the delivery not proven, and non suited the plaintiff, pointing out that the method was bad, with many possibilities of the goods going a,stray.
