ROUMANIA’S REFUSAL Of League Intervention (Received. March 25 at 5.5 pan.) BUCHAREST, March 23, In the absence of M. TitulesCu, Premier, owing to indisposition, a statement was read in the Seriate and the Chamber to the effect that the Goevrnment of Roumania refuses to accept the League of Nations’ Council decision in the Hungarian dispute. It maintains the position approved 'by the Council in September .1927, which considers an arbitral tribunal of five Roumania had fulfilled by a generous offer to compensate Hungarian landowners' out of reparations duo from Hungary. Roumania refuses to admit the right of a new tribunlal to decide a question affecting her sovereignty. The statement Was received with enthusiasm in both Houses of Govern inent, and a motion of confidence i” M. Titulescu was carried. BELGRADE. March 24. The Yugo-Slav authorities seized twenty-two wrigon loads of ammilni tihn at Subotiza station, allegedly ■from Italy, for Roumania, via Hun‘gary. It was ascertained twelve trucks previously passed through containing explosives.
