RAILWAY BUS AND TRAM COLLIDE. WELLINGTON, February 28. There were no passengers in the Railway Department bus which collided with a tram car at Thordon Qu?v this morning. The wind screen in front of the bus was badly damaged. The woodwork on the left/ side was torn away. The driver, Alfred G. Cottrell suffered bruises. The bus engine was not working well, and Cottrell had to use a choke while leaning over, thus the mishap occurred.
