OPERA HOUSE MATINEE AND NIGHT. HAROLD LLOYD IN “COLLEGE Look at it any way you wish, you’ll have to admit, after you have seen Harold Lloyd’s newest comedy, “College Days,” showing 1 at the Opera lions” to-day (Monday) Matinee and to night, that this world-renowned star has hit the top o£ the comedy field. Ever since “College Days” opened li re, the audiences have been kept a continual uproar. If this is not th funniest picture Lloyd has ever made, then this reviewer’s funny bone is not working. “College Days” tells the story of a young chap who goes to col lege and socks recognition as th? m
popular boy in school. His code of life is of such a generous nature that he becomes the subject of ridicule among his fellow-students. What develops thereafter might better be told on the screen, as the hilarious scenes, thrills and suspense are almost indescribable. The specially augmented orchestra will play:—Overture, “Bohemian Girl” (Balfe); Entracte, ’cello and clarinette duet, “Offenbach,” by Messrs Clarence Moss and Eric Moss; and Mr Jack Michel will play a Xylophone solo, “Light Cavalry” Overture.
