WEST COAST TOURNEY Third Day’s Results The visiting bowlers are now convinced that the weather on the West Coast is equal to the best in the coun try, as yesterday proved another ideal day for their pastime. The pairs competition was begun in the morning. On the Greymouth green ten rounds were played, three each in Sections A. and B. and two each in Sections C. and 1)., while on Runanga green six rounds were played (three each in sections E. and F.) ROTORUA TOURNAMENT. ROTORUA, February 8. Additional results of the Rotorua bowling tournament give the position of leaders in the section play as follows:—Section A: Pascoe 7 wins; Section B: Brenner 7 wins; Section C: Kerr and Brown 6 each; Section D: Truscott 6, Pakes 6; Section E: Cornish 6 wins. The greens are not quite fast to-day on account of rain overnight. The day has been fine, but dull. Many very close games resulted in ties. It is early yet to pick the section winners, as s. game won or lost will bring others.
