FASHION’S LATEST.

The popular house of fashion, Aitken and Peters, are as usual to the fore with a good display of women’s needs. The showroom has a particularly fine line of silk Fugi frocks in pretty stripes .o suit all tastes, at the low figure of 29s 6d —just the thing for these warm days for picnics. The Dress Department is stocked with all the latest materials suitable for afternoon, evening or house frocks. One will find an endless variety of Fugi silks, Fugi le ms. Bordeaux and floral voiles, georgettes, j crepe de chines and new summer repps, in all the latest shades. The familiar Indian head is here stocked in all shades, proved and guaranteed fadeless. This is the material that our grandmothers used and proved the value of. “Lady Daphne” art silk hose still holds sway over the hosiery department, all shades being stocked and sold at one price, 4s lid, this line being hard to beat for finish and good wear. In the Millinery Department, the ladies will find bargains so dear their heart —models, hats, crinoline .shapes in all the latest shades. Mr Peters is clearing these at a drastic reduction, disposing of the whole line at 13s 6d each.
