Terrors of Polish Winter. MANY PEASANTS KILLED LONDON, December 30. Radio messages report that wild beasts, maddened by increased tho terrors of the winter in Poland. Packs of wolves killed many peasants in the Eastern Border lands. Two women were devoured near Wolkocwysk; also four smugglers, who had just crossed the border with contraband. The Governiuont is employing Iroops tn or ganise great hunts to exterminate as many wolves as possible.
