THE WEATHER.

WELLINGTON, November 28.

The Dominion Meteorologist reports that present indications are for strong winds to gale, westerly, backing to couth-westerly North of Kawhia and Napier, and south-easterly to southerly elsewhere. Weather cold, unsettled and boisterous, with passing showers generally, but some heavy rain in the East Coast between East Cape and Akaroa, and in the Cook Strait region. Barometer rising over the Dominion soon, and conditions gradually moderating. The cyclone has been centred to-day off the East Coast, south of Napier.
