SHOCK FOR LADIES.
KILTS BARRED BY HIGHLAND GATHERING. (Sun Cable.) LONDON, Sept. 1. The Braemar Highland gathering forbids girls and women dancing in Kilts, since tradition proscribes that kilts be worn by men only. This much surprised feminine professional dancers, who previously competed in such numbers in the presence of the King and Queen in contest programmes.
