(Received July 11 at 11.35 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 11A message from Aurora, Illinois, states: A passenger train crashed into a herd of six circus elephants at a crossing here on Sunday morning. One elephant was knocked to the ground and killed, crushing to death its trainer. The otljer elephants threw their riders and stampeded. Three of them were not recaptured in two hours.
