PURSUANT to the Coal-Mines Act, 1925, the undersigned, The Blackball Coal Mines Proprietary Limited, a company duly registered having its registered office in Christchurch, hereby applies for a license to prospect for coal in respect of the following land: Situate in Mawheranui Survey District commencing at the most northerly corner of section 2, Block IL, said Survey District, thence south westerly along the boundary of sections 2 and 1 said Survey District for a distance of 93 chains thence north easterly 64 chain.® and 29 chains thence south easterly 42 chains to the point of commencement.
