BOY IN A CAVE.

FOUND STARVING AT SUMNER. (Per Press Assn.) CHRISTCHURCH, July 3. On Saturday morning a boy aged 124 was found sleeping in a eave on the Hill at Sumner. He looked cold and starved, ami his own story was that he left Lome because he ■was badly treated by his parents. lie said he lived at Sumner, but he was unable to find the house, and ho was taken to the Police station in the city. A boy of a similar ago, who had admitted a series of petty robberies al New Brighton, escaped from a policeman there some days ago, after being arrested, and has been missing since.
