WEDDING.
HAISTY—O’NEILL, St Patrick’s Church was the scene of a pretty wedding yesterday morning, when Mr John Haisty, only son of Mr and Mrs James Haisty, of Blackball, was united in matrimony to Miss Emily O’Neill, youngest daughter of the late Mr T. and Mrs O’Neill, of Dunollie. The Nuptial Mass was co 7 ?/atcd by Rev Father Halohan.
The bride was charmingly attired in an embroidered frock of peach charmelainc, and a taffeta toque to match; and carried a bouquet of choice flowers., She was attended by her sister Irene, who wore a periwinkle blue repp bolero frock, with biscuit crinoline hat, and carried a posy of chrysanthemums and rosebuds. Mrs O’Neill, mother of the bride, wore black satin, with a fur coat. Mrs Haisty, mother of the bridegroom, was attired in a cinnamon frock, with navy velour coat and cinnamon velour hat. The wedding guests were entertained at Herb Moore’s tea rooms. Later, the happy couple left by motor for Nelson and Blenheim, the bride’s travelling costume being of cinnamon silk repp, with velour hat to match, and a navy velour coat and fox fur.
