STATE CONTROL WANTED. (Per Press Assn.) AUCKLAND, June 21. A meeting of 600 listeners-in to night passed the following resolution: — “That this public meeting of licensees and listeners, having lost all confidence in the intention s and capabilities of the Radio Broadmasting Company of New Zealand to satisfactorily control broadcasting in New Zealand, strongly urges that the Government assume immediate and complete control of broadcasting on a basis similar to that now obtaining in Great Britain.”
