NUMBER FOR THE YEAR. WELLINGTON. June 7. The number of radio licenses issued and renewed throughout the Dominion for the current year is now close on 20,000. The latest return shows a total of 19,579 licenses registered up to June 2, comprising 15,326 listening-in licenses, 1155 dealers’ licenses, and 9 transmitters’ licenses. The dealers’ Icenses number 351 in Auckland, 197 in Canterbury, 132 in Otago, and 475 in Wellington.
