WAR REGULATIONS.
ANOTHER PROSECUTION. OVER ‘THE LABOUR MONTHLY.’ (Per Press Assn.) AUCKLAND, June 17. A charge of selling a document, namely, “The Labour Monthly,” volume 9, No. 3, which expressed a seditious intention, contrary to the Regulations continued in force under the War Regulations Conitnuanco Act. 1920, was preferred against Albert Ed ward Basham in the Police Court today.
Mr Sullivan, for the defendant, said that he had arranged with the Crown Prosecutor for an adjournment until next Friday.
As Chief Detective Cummings offered no objection, Magistrate AL* Kean adjourned the case accordingly.
