JAP CRISIS.
SUPPORT FOR BANKS. S TOKIO, April 27. The Banks which did not close prior to the moratorium are working under its limitations, which permit of ordinary business and five hundred yen withdrawals. There is no excitement., though, a few savings institutions arj crowded with small depositors. All the large banks have combined, and have agreed to support each other, :js«. the smaller banks, while the Bank of Japan guarantees loans to meet all solvent bank demands. The total deposit's of the banks which closed last week amount to eight hundred million yen. The Finance Department is pieparing a Government Bill for preaenI a cion. The Diet is authorising 1 anared million xen support from the Panic of Japan.
