LONDON PRESENTATIONS. LONDON, April 9. Doctor F. B. Mayer (farmer President of the Baptist Union and of the National Federation of Free Churches), who is celebrating his eightieth birthday, received a cheque for £BOO from five hundred admirers, also a huge birthday cake and a portable wireless set. The Archbishop of Canterbury sent him a letter saying: “You have years precedence of myself. These days of eventide are s< lemn. I should like your fellowship in thought and prayers. ’ ’
