OPERA HOUSE. MATINEE TO-DAY AND AGAIN TO-NIGHT. TOM MIX AND TONY IN “TONY RUNS WILD.” “Tony Runs Wild,” Fox Films latest Toni Mix production, will begin I showing at the Opera House to-day I (Saturday) Matinee and night. The setting for “Tony Runs Wild” is along the Apache trail in Arizona’s land of wonderful scenery. The action |of the story carries the picture to the exterior and through the interiors of the ancient Cliff Dwellings, homes of a race that vanished from America centuries ago. Famous mining properties, one of the most highly developed ranches of Arizona’s famous cattle country, and miles of the scenic roads through the district appear in the picture. The final scene is in the celebrated Box Canyon, a natural .corral I near the Cliff Dwellings. The story gives Mix and Tony an opportunity to perform more of their feats of strength and skill, and thrills that are new even for this pair of film stars make this the most striking of Mix’s Jo»ng line of thrilling productions. Tony is pictured as the leader of a band of wild horses. Ite is captured and tamed, and then released. At the climax of the production, in the final scene, he answers his master’s call, leads his wild matesi in a rush that saves the hero and the heroine from being shot to death by desperadoes. Mix b ; uaself says this is Tony’s best picture, 4(nd} Tony; says it’s Tom’s best production. In addition to Mix. the cast includes Jacqueline Logan, Lawford Davidson, Duke Lee, Vivian Oakland, Edward Martindale, Marion Harlan, Raymond Wells, Jack Padjam Arthur Morrison and Martin Faust. SUNDAY NIGHT PICTURE BENEFIT. Love, laughs, gowns, gasps, gaiety < and novelty. Gloria Swanson in “Stage Struck” is a Gloria whom you have never before seen on the screen. And for two reasons. Firstly, she plays a pathetic comedy role. A role that will make you laugh heartily. Secondly, there are scenes in Technicolor. You will see Gloria in her natural beauty, and that is worth walking a mile to see. You will enjoy Gloria Swanson in her latest Paramount picture, “Stage Struck,” at the Sunday night picture benefit at the Opera House. MONDAY NIGHT. The star attraction coming to the Opera House on Monday night will be an exceptional Master Picture entitled “Go Straight,” with one of the greatest casts in filmsland. Owen Moore, Gladys Hulette, Mary Carr, George Fawcett and Frances McDonald.
